Impact 6 Print Conference Delegate Pack

Impact is an international print conference in its tenth year. We were asked by the University of the West of England (where Impact originated and returns to this anniversary year) to produce the 150 page delegate pack to include schedules, paper abstracts, panel overviews, maps and further information.

We also designed and screenprinted the front cover which is a play (straight steal) on Robert Rauschenberg’s Automobile Tire Print, fitting for a print conference but doubly so because of Impact’s 10th year ‘homecoming.’

The Centre for Fine Print Research at UWE asked us to put together the Impact Print conference website. Working closely with the Centre we helped ensure the web presence matched the print promotion/material and added all the usual Chesapeake touches; textures, clear layout and typography, and simple coding. We also consulted with the IT people at UWE to make sure everything was in line with University accessiblility/usability standards.
